Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well. – 3 John 1:2 NIV
When you read this verse you can see that it’s necessary to prosper in your soul (mind, will emotions and intellect) first in order to prosper financially and in your health. For your soul to prosper, feed your mind the word, make your decisions in line with God’s word. Allow your emotions to be submitted to the Word and use Godly wisdom found in His word. This is the spiritual side that we have to do first and then the physical result (prosperity and divine health) will be present in our lives.
This, then, is how you should pray: “ ‘Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. – Matthew 6:9–10 NIV
When we pray God’s will be done on earth as it is in heaven, we are not resigning ourself to whatever will happen but we are praying that Gods will will be done in our lives. Just as in heaven, there is no evil in heaven and God’s perfect will is done, We are praying that God’s perfect will will be seen in our daily lives and we pray it in our lives daily because we know that God loves us and has the best for us.
I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. – Matthew 16:19 NIV
We are to use the heavenly keys, which is heaven’s viewpoint, spiritual authority and resources, to operate according to heaven’s perspective and then to call on heaven’s authority to bind and loose to see the answer to our prayers here on earth. We are to study this authority that we have and use it daily to enforce Gods kingdom to come on hearth.
Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. This is what the ancients were commended for. By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God’s command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible. – Hebrews 11:1–3 NIV
God called the universe into existence out of nothing, he declared that it was to be and it came to be. Our faith is in the God who created the entire universe. His word has awesome power and is available to us to stand on and use as well every day. As we speak Gods word which has spiritual power behind it, it will manifest as God intends it in physical our lives.
Beat your plowshares into swords and your pruning hooks into spears. Let the weakling say, “I am strong!” – Joel 3:10
This is a spiritual principle that is written here. Proverbs 18:21 says life and death is in the power of the tongue. If you need to do something that is the will of God but are feeling like you can’t do it, confess the opposite of how you are feeling. This spiritual principle will allow supernatural strength to be given to you to accomplish Gods will.
As it is written: “I have made you a father of many nations.” He is our father in the sight of God, in whom he believed—the God who gives life to the dead and calls into being things that were not. – Romans 4:17 NIV
This reference of Abraham was when God called him a father to many nations. God spoke this to Abraham before it manifested in the natural. Actually Abraham and Sarah were old and and thought it wasn’t possible to have children. God, who is spirit, spoke this promised to Abraham and we see it happened in the natural.
The seventh time the servant reported, “A cloud as small as a man’s hand is rising from the sea.” So Elijah said, “Go and tell Ahab, ‘Hitch up your chariot and go down before the rain stops you.’ – 1 Kings 18:44
Elijah heard the word of the Lord in his spirit that the rain would be coming. He proceeded to go to the top of mount carmel to pray and as he continued to persevere in prayer the answer transitioned from the spiritual into the natural. A great rain came and the drought was over.
