“I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. For the creation waits in eager expectation for the children of God to be revealed.” – Romans 8:18-19 NIV

God knows that the suffering that you are going through now will cause a future glory to be revealed in your life. Think of this if you are going through a hard time. Don’t complain but praise and know that there will be a future glory that will be seen.

“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” – Romans 8:28 NIV

If we are walking in fellowship with God and serving him then know that whatever negative situation will work out for good eventually. Your prayer during this time is to pray that it will work out for the best. And don’t stop praying this until you have peace in your heart that God has completely turned it around.

“What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?” – Romans 8:31 NIV

As children of God we know that God is on our side. So every obstacle to the promise or any blockage to the answer of your prayer is no match to our God who is all powerful.

“So shall they fear the name of the Lord from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him.” – Isaiah 59:19 KJV

This is describing the enemy coming in and attempt to take over and penetrate the world like a flood would come in and cover everything. When this occurs, God will come in and raise up a standard against the enemy and the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of God.

“and provide for those who grieve in Zion— to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of his splendor.” – Isaiah 61:3 NIV (verse 1-3 in context)

In times of mourning, it was usual to put on sackcloth and ashes, but instead of this, Christ gives his mourners the beautiful garments of salvation, and the robe of his righteousness, and the graces of his Spirit, and his gracious presence

“He said: “Listen, King Jehoshaphat and all who live in Judah and Jerusalem! This is what the Lord says to you: ‘Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours, but God’s.” – 2 Chronicles 20:15 NIV

Sometimes we get into situations where we feel like we are surrounded by our enemies but it’s at ti es like this that we need to remember to keep a worship full attitude towards God. Remember to be thankful and express that toward. This is how you transfer the battle that you are in, into His hands. He will give you the victory.

“But David said to Saul, “Your servant has been keeping his father’s sheep. When a lion or a bear came and carried off a sheep from the flock, I went after it, struck it and rescued the sheep from its mouth. When it turned on me, I seized it by its hair, struck it and killed it. Your servant has killed both the lion and the bear; this uncircumcised Philistine will be like one of them, because he has defied the armies of the living God. The Lord who rescued me from the paw of the lion and the paw of the bear will rescue me from the hand of this Philistine.” Saul said to David, “Go, and the Lord be with you.”” – 1 Samuel 17:34-37 NIV

In challenging times when you are facing something that looks like a giant compared to you, you have to pull on past situations that God has delivered you and use those situations as encourage in your current battle. The God that saved you then is with you now.

“Then Job replied to the Lord: “I know that you can do all things; no purpose of yours can be thwarted.” – Job 42:1-2 NIV

This is the conclusion that Job came to. After losing all that he had God answered him back and Job was convinced that Gods plans will always come to pass and no plan of his can ever be stopped by the enemy.

“No, we declare God’s wisdom, a mystery that has been hidden and that God destined for our glory before time began. None of the rulers of this age understood it, for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.” – 1 Corinthians 2:7-8 NIV

The devil has been messing with you and causing you trouble but you need to keep this in mine. The devil doesn’t know the future and through the tough time that you are experiencing, it is actually making you stronger and will ultimately give God glory.
