This stage is very practical and in doing this you will find that you have a lot of value inside of you.
The Bible says, “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.”– Jer 29:11
Its story time.
I want to paint a picture for you. Picture a plot of empty land. Maybe about 5 acres. Some man just bought it for $10,000 because though the land was not maintained, there is a potential in it for precious resources (Oil and diamonds etc.). This man grabs his tools and goes to work clearing off the land, first by cutting down the trees. As he was piling up the trees another man came by and asked, “Hey where did you get that saw” the man says “I made it.” He sells it to the man walking by and made another one so he can continue the work. He does that 3 more times to three different people passing by.
Finally he was able to clear off most of the trees and building a house for himself on his land. The left over wood he just piled up on the corner of his property. One day some man came by and said “nice house… Can I buy the wood that you have in the corner so that I can build my own?” He sells the man the wood.
Time pass and he got a bit discouraged because he didn’t find any resources in his land yet. He made ends meet by making and selling saws and selling the trees that grew on his land. As he sold the trees he made sure to replant them and used the profit from selling saws and trees he bought more steel to make saws.
FINALLY after 5 years he finally found an oil reserve under his land and started to extract the oil to sell. He hit the jackpot. He was extremely happy. But the interesting thing that happened over the course of 5 years was that people knew him as the person to buy saws and wood from to build their houses. This actually made him very wealthy already. The oil that he found on his property gave him more than enough to give the money to his kids and grandchildren to live off of for years to come.
The moral of this story is we all have something of value in us. We just need to start to do the work to uncover it. As we are working on figuring out what our value gift to the world is, we may come across other gifts and talents that were there all along that we can use to be a blessing to others, support our lives and leave back for the generations after us. Inside of us is value that God placed in us. Our job is to seek Him and serve others as we try to discover what that value is. As we are doing that we will uncover not only our specific gift and calling but other gifts and talents in us that will be a blessing to other ans ourselves as well.

]]>I will repay you for the years the locusts have eaten, the great locust and the young locust, the other locusts and the locust swarm my great army that I sent among you. Joel 2:25
After going through the first three quarters of the year, you should know your opponents strategies by know. Know that every Temptation that the enemy is only a test and after each test you pass you gain wisdom. In this fourth quarter, apply that wisdom to score some points and get back into the lead.
You may have not showed up at all in the first three quarters of this year but now is the time to put some points on the board. Christians often time procrastinate and are passive about going after the promise that God has spoken to them. God is always waiting for us to take the first step. Peter had to trust Jesus work when He told him to step out of the boat and walk on water. It wasn’t that peter took that first step that he was able to do it. If you have been procrastinating and waiting for God to make the first move, Its time for you to apply your faith to the Word that God has spoken to you and take that first step. Isaiah 30:21 says “Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, “This is the way; walk in it.” This verse is very powerful because if you read it, it says when you decide to go in any particular direction, then you will hear Gods voice confirming your steps. Its time to make up for lost ground in the fourth quarter of the year and finish strong.
Gods power is always available to you. No matter the deficit that you are facing as a result of the past quarters of this year. God is with you now and He wants you to finish this year off strong. I am working to finish off some projects that have been on hold for a while and one of them is launching a new podcast. It is called the Faith Fight Podcast. This podcast will be able to help you with your prayer life and bible devotion and I will be releasing the first episodes soon. You can subscribe by clicking here to receive a notification when the first episodes are released.
Its time for your fourth quarter comeback. Go make it happen!!
Be blessed.
]]>Your mind is extremely powerful. It’s split up into two parts, the conscious and the subconscious mind. The conscious mine is the active and the subconscious is passive. What this means is you whatever you decide to say, do and think is a result of the conscious mind. There are also functions that you do on a daily basis that you don’t need to actively think about. These activities are controlled by the subconscious mind. An example of this is breathing, walking, or any habit that you are stuck in (good or bad). Things that you choose to do with the conscious mind end up in the subconscious mind, and eventually they become habits that you don’t need to actively think about doing anymore. You just do them. The reason this is important when it comes to music is because there are things that are said and feelings that you feel in the music that get into your subconscious mind. Once these words, feelings, or thoughts get into your subconscious mind, then then happen automatically and have the ability to control you.
When we read Psalm 150 we see why it is important to include music in our worship services. This psalm tells us to use the trumpet, Hark, cymbals and encourages everything with breath to praise the Lord. Though worship is more than just music, music plays a big part in worship. During a worship service the biggest challenge that I think people face is keeping their minds focused on God. Its easy for your mind to wonder and think about other unimportant things or other problems. During worship we should all learn how to discipline our minds to focus on God and not our problems or anything else that may try to distract us. While focusing our minds on God singing of his goodness we magnify him in our own minds and this builds faith that He will see us through our problems or help us concerning anything that we are believing Him for. Depending on the type or style of music played it may bring a different emotion to the song. The words of worship songs should also be in line with scripture. This is where the subconscious mind comes into play.
Jesus was talking with the woman and the well from Sameria in John 4 and the topic of the conversation shifted into worship. In Jesus’ response, he mentioned the following, “But the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship him.” (John 4:23 ESV)
In these verses Jesus mentioned that worship should be in “spirit and truth”. We have to understand what that means. To worship in spirit means our outward actions reflect our inward devotion to God. Hearts overflow expressed outwardly. To worship in truth means in response to and in agreement with the Word of God. This is where I’m going to connect my earlier points about the subconscious mind and the music in the church. It is difficult to focus your mine to worship God in Spirit and in Truth when in your subconscious mind there is memories of other secular songs and other things that have a stronger influence on you than the spirit of God. If you want to move to the next level in your worship, cut off the secular music, and listen to great worship songs. Discipline your mind to stay focused on the things of God.

The definition of hypocrisy is “ the practice of claiming to have moral standards or beliefs to which one’s own behavior does not conform; pretense.” The truth of the matter is that most Christians are trying to be like Jesus but there is an element of the flesh that we have to crucify daily in order to be successful at it. At the end of the day we are all sinners. Nobody is perfect but this is the reason why Jesus went to the cross to die for our sins. That we may believe in Him who was sinless and we are forgiven for all our sins. Past, present and future) Just know that people always have the capacity to sin or to do you wrong. Nobody is perfect. But God is perfect. You attending church should be because you want to know God better. It’s in that atmosphere that you have the opportunity to join in with everyone else and worship the true and living God. Its also in that atmosphere that God has the ability to speak to your either directly into your spirit, through His word or through the pastor. But if you don’t attend church because the people are hypocrites, you are missing out of your own opportunity to grow spiritually and hear from God.
Yes there are thieves out there. Some of them are in the church… but this is nothing new. Jesus picked twelve disciples. One of them was Judas who was a thief. This too should not keep you from attending church. When you give your tithe and offerings you are performing an act of worship to God. God is looking at your heart as you are giving and seeing your faithfulness in doing so. He is the only one who can judge you because He is the only one who can see your heart. You give your money to the church that God has planted you at in order that that church can take care of the church expenses and needs in the ministry and community. The people who are responsible for collecting the tithes and offering every Sunday are also being judged by God for their actions. If they are bold enough to steel money for themselves then they will have to give an account to God for their actions when they die. God sees all and he knows what going on behind closed doors. So If you give your tithes or offering to a church and the pastor or someone in leadership is stealing the money and using it for their own purposes just remember that God judged your heart because you gave our of obedience, love and faithfulness. God will reward you for your giving. If the church steals the money then they will have to give an account to God for it because you can’t hide from God.
There are 168 hours in a week. What God is saying is can you set aside at least 1 hour a week to come to my church and worship me? When you think about the total number of hours that we have in a week and how we use those hours it may start to blow your mind. The average American spends about 30 hours a week watching television. The average American spends approximately 14 hours on Social media each week. All God is asking you for is 1-3 of those hours on a Sunday. This is not even about the hours but about putting God as the priority in your life. What is more important to you? Is sleeping in on a Sunday more important to you than God who is able to bless and keep you for that entire week? Is that party that started at 10pm on Saturday and ended at 4am Sunday morning more important than getting your rest to wake up in time to make it to worship service? When you boil this down its all about your priorities and what is in your heart.
If you are reading this and don’t know who Jesus is, I want to invite you to get to know him. Click here to read a simple prayer that will cause you to be connected to the Family of God. God wants us all to mature and not use childish excuses that the enemy throws our way to cause us to miss our blessing. Be encouraged.

]]>“For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.”
1 Timothy 6:10 NIV
We see the drastic, and sometime criminal, things that people are willing to do just for more money. What I think people are missing is that “the more money you have the more problems you got”. (Notorious BIG). If you and anyone who has made a lot of money in their lives, they will tell you that every time they broke through a threshold to a new income level, they had new issues they didn’t have to deal with before. I’m not saying that having a lot of money is bad. What I want to get down to is how we should use this money and not allow it to run or ruin our lives.
““No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.”
Matthew 6:24 NIV
The money you make should be directed toward a fulfilling a mission or calling. Every one of us on earth can find some cause that they can stand behind. By having a mission that you are directing your money to serve you are building a lasting legacy and this will give you a sense of purpose when you wake up every morning. If you are only working to make more money then this is like running after the wind. You will never reach the end of that pursuit. Every time you reach one level of income you will want to get to the next… and the next… and so on without ever using that money to be impactful in society. If you are just living to make money then you are worshiping mammon. Mammon is money without God. Money that is worshiped for its own sake and not to help others. When you have the fight priority and God is your focus then He can direct your heart to what mission you can use direct that money to support.
Put ur money where God is calling your heart. It could be your home country, a cause, or your local church. Use the wealth to support a mission that is bigger than just you. By doing this you will leave a legacy and will impact many more lives than you could have by just keeping all that money in the bank. Pray and ask God to lead you concerning what mission you should contribute to. If you need help figuring out what God is saying, I created a simple PDF guide that will help you know when God is directing you. Just click here or enter your information below. God is faithful to lead you. Be prosperous and be impactful in this world for the glory of God.
Blessings.

]]>This is only my opinion. I believe that people who were born here have such a big head start on everyone else that they should be the ones creating the companies, new innovative technology and providing opportunities for others who in other countries that come here for a better life. But what is happening is these people are taking the jobs that I believe are meant for individuals who are coming from other countries. What do I think the problem is…? Let me tell you.
See, I have this day set thee over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant. (Jeremiah 1:10)
I think most of the people who are born and went to school here are lazy and have to be pushed into taking a risk or stepping out to do something big. As this group of people have gone through the school system, they have been conditioned just to get a job and not push the status quo. God has gifted us with so much skills and His creative power is at work in us. There is no limit to what we can create if we just step out and have faith in God build up something new or to read down something old.
“For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” 2 Timothy 1:7 KJV
People who have been living in a first world country their entire life have become very comfortable with a steady paycheque to the point that they are afraid to risk not getting one by stepping out and starting a new venture. The responsibility of life and the fact that a job and steady pay cheque every two weeks guarantees that they can support their families and lives makes them comfortable. These are the people who are glad it’s Friday and live for the weekend. I believe that you should thank God for everyday and live for now to do something great. It’s very difficult to step out from this comfort zone but when you do you will see that you have opened up more revenue streams and opportunities than you had before. Don’t be afraid. Step out and make it happen.
Some of you reading this may know that God has called you to do greater. Just like when Jesus called Peter out of the boat to walk in the water, God is calling you to leave your comfort zone and take a risk. Keep your eyes focused on Jesus and what He has directed you to do and you will not sink. Be sure to know what your calling and purpose is. For assistance I make a free guide with really simple steps that will help you know what and where God is directing you. You can read it by clicking here or entering your information below. Go out there, take a risk and do something great today.

]]>I rather put myself comfortable position and have some savings in my bank account that I can draw upon if needed for emergencies then to spend all my money paying off debts on cars, credit cards or any other things that I may have purchased to show off or to portray the image of being successful. If I’m living in government housing where my rent is fixed then I have no business trying to purchase a BMW or Mercedes. The fact of the matter is this, it doesn’t matter what people think about you. If you live your life trying to live up to peoples expectation or portray an image of success then you’ll always be living to please someone else and not yourself and definitely not living to please God.
You need to do what’s best for you so that you know how to manage your money. This way you can start build real wealth in our lives for families. Stop being a slave to other people’s opinion and be wise with your money.
If people are going to talk about you then they’re going to talk about you. Their opinion isn’t really that important and if it was it wouldn’t matter what you have. I sure hope people are not getting all of these luxury items on credit. If so, the only people who win are the lenders and the banks. At the end of the term think about all of the interest that you paid to drive that new BMW you could have bought two. And by the time it’s paid off you probably don’t even like it anymore.
Don’t try so hard to keep up with the Joneses. Anyways you don’t even know how the Joneses are doing financially. If there able to afford all their shiny new toys or if they financed it all and all of their pay cheque at the end of the month goes towards payments. In my opinion, if you can put money away in a savings account at the end of the month then your doing okay. You should be able to break even and put something away for safe keeping. Look at Warren Buffet. He is one of the wealthiest men in the world bit he still lives in his house that he purchased in 1958 for $31,500. There really is no need to upgrade unless it is necessary.
The most important thing is that you’re happy. Do what makes you happy. Enjoy life to the fullest… Just don’t go broke doing it. If you need some help with some of the decisions you may need to make financially, I’ve created a simple guide that will help you know when God is directing you to do something. ]]>One of the biggest mistakes I made in my first year of college was sign up for a credit card. They made it so easy though. pre approved, $2500 limit, and the credit card company was in the schools cafeteria (yes this company came into the school cafeteria to get us hooked). I signed up… at the time to me it was free money. Needless to say that I maxed it out very quickly. The good news is that I was able to pay it off 3 years after I graduated. For those doing the math that was a 3 year diploma program plus 3 years of working… Equals 6 years. I didn’t know it would be so hard to pay off. Some of you reading this might have tens of thousands dollars of credit card debt accumulate from school. But be wise about it and create a strategy to pay it off.
Most people think that if they don’t have the money for something that they can put it on their credit card and BAM! Problem solved. But what they don’t consider is how they will pay it off before interest is applied to the balance. I do understand that if you are in a tight position and there is something that you NEED and don’t have the means to pay for with cash. But if the purchase is something that you want and don’t have the money for then don’t put yourself through the trouble.
The following is just my opinion on how to use a credit card. If there is something that you need to purchase on the credit card… Use it. But always evaluate if you can afford to pay the balance off by the end of the month. When ever you let interest accumulate on the balance its like your paying more than the actual price that you saw in the store. I work hard for my money and banks make enough money as is (I’m using my money for other important things)
If you get really smart with your credit card company you can sign up for a card that has a reward program (for every dollar you spend you get one point that can redeemed for something else in the future). Again, you must use your card responsibly. Try to make sure that you can pay off the balance by the end of the month.
The bigger issue that is involved here is your name. Your credit score is attached to your name and if you have a lot of debt or if you are late with any payments then your credit score will go down. This can hurt you if you plan to make a big purchase like a house, car or apply for a small business loan. You want to make sure that you always keep your credit score in good standing and if you miss a payment then work diligently to bring it back up. When you have good credit in this country then so many more doors of opportunity can open for you.
So just to finalize, if you don’t know how to use a credit card responsibly then I would suggest you don’t use one. If you do, try to get the most out of the credit card company by signing up for a card with a rewards program. Use discernment and Godly wisdom found in the bible to make your decisions. I’ve created a simple PDF guide that can be easily downloaded by clicking here or entering your information on the section below. This house is a quick read and will help you make wise decisions concerning not only your money but your big life decisions. Until next time be a good steward over what God has trusted you with.

]]>Now the Israelites had been saying, “Do you see how this man keeps coming out? He comes out to defy Israel. The king will give great wealth to the man who kills him. He will also give him his daughter in marriage and will exempt his family from taxes in Israel.”
“The king will give great wealth to the man who kills him…”
This is only the first level of blessing that you will receive once you defeat your Goliath. God will bless you. This blessing may come in different forms but expect God to shower down a blessing upon you for being victorious in battle. In biblical times, the Kings had all the money, so wen this verse says that the King will give you great wealth just know that it’s the equivalent to Warren Buffet writing you a cheque for up to half of what he is worth. When you defeat your Goliath expect to be blessed abundantly that you will be able to enjoy the fullness that God has for you.
“…He will also give him his daughter in marriage…”
On the surface this looks like it was only a blessing for David. He would get to marry the Kings daughter which more than likely would be one of the most beautiful women in the land. However looking at it deeper we see that this is a generations blessing. Marrying the king’s daughter meant that their children would fall under the Kings lineage and be entitled to receive an inheritance. In simple terms, David’s kids would be set for life. The way that we should think of this is once we defeat our Goliath, our children will not need to fight against it. You would’ve cut off every generational curse or bondage so that your children can stand on your victory and will not have to fight the same battles that you fought. This too is one of the rewards waiting for you once you are able to defeat your Goliath.
“…will exempt his family from taxes in Israel.”
Again, You can look at this and think that it is only a blessing for you. But what this verse is saying is that there is a blessing that is available for the household that you came from. Your father and mother household. This is also including all your siblings. Keep in mind that once you overcome your Keep in mind that once you overcome your sin this can bring great deliverance to others in your family. They may have watched you struggle with a sin and know your testimony so once you are delivered and defeat your Goliath they will see and this can be an encouragement for them that they can do it as well.
Think of all these thinks as you fight against your Goliath. The rewards for your victory is great. It’s not only for you but it can be shared with your children and children’s children and also have a retroactive effect on your families. Keep these things in mind when you are tempted and feel the pressure. Keep your mind focused on the spoils and rewards that will come as result of the victory. God is faithful, he will not allow you to be tempted more than you can manage as it mentioned in 1 Corinthians 10:13. Know where God is directing you and follow that path.
