You are NOT Alone

Have you ever observed a conversation between some men about anything… sports, politics, cell phones? We are so passionate and have such large egos. We never want to be wrong, fell like we don’t have full control or even worst; we don’t want to be corrected about something in front of everyone else. It’s just hard for men to show some vulnerability. This is a problem.

Everyone goes through something sometimes and we all need help every now and them but men especially don’t know how to open up and confess that they have a weakness in any area in their lives.
MEN, DON’T SUFFER IN SILENCE.

We all need each other to be better men and fulfill God purpose for our lives. It’s the devil that wants to isolate you to keep you bound up in your trouble. If there is ever a time when you think you are alone or the only man that is going through something remember these verses

1 Corinthians 10:13 says, “No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it”. Remember that the temptation that you face today has been around since the beginning of time. It just takes a different form for each of us men. There are countless number of men that have overcome the temptation that you are facing today. Find a man who you trust to be honest and accountable to. Learn how they have overcome so that you too can overcome.

Revelation 12:11 says, “They triumphed over him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death.” When you are tempted are in a situation where you feel like you will fall, call on the blood of Jesus to cover you. This verse also says that we triumph by the blood and the word of our testimony. This means to share your experience of when you have overcome in the past so that others can learn from you and be victorious in their own battles. Don’t be silent.

Romans 3:23 says, “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” So don’t beat yourself up over your mistake. If God thought we had the ability to be perfect and sinless then He wouldn’t have sent his Son Jesus to die for us and make a way for us to come back after we fall. Don’t compare yourself to anyone else. Everyone falls from time to time. We all go through periods of weakness. Don’t think that other men don’t go through the pressure or temptation that you are going through. We are all in the world together.

The most important aspect that I want to highlight here is that we shouldn’t allow our sin, failure or ego to stop us from perusing God and his plans for our life.
